About
Three college friends get involved in an incident that puts one in a coma while the other is arrested. 15 years down the line, one of the boys becomes a police officer and buries the incident in his past, but what happens when your past shows up in your home?

The NDPYC have taken the three word slogan of Brothers, Betrayals and Banter and turned it into Religion, Relationships and Redemption in our play adaptation of the book. This youth led production consists of numerous auditions, rehearsals and workshops bringing together young people (ages 13 -25) from all over East London starting with our very own deanery, Newham. At the forefront of this operation is Olivea (Youth Coordinator of the NDPYC) and Paula (PR for the NDPYC). This project aims to raise awareness of knife crime which is a prominent problem plaguing the streets of London as well as building bridges for young people to take on active roles in their communities.

Brother - Hood will surely educate, entertain and motivate change.

Our journey begins with weeks of Auditions
Numerous auditions were held over the summer holidays in response to the swarm of young applicants willing to be part of this project
Auditions were held both online and in person
The auditions were amazing, with awe-inspiring talent on display. The judges had a tough time choosing the of the best.
Our production had also received an overwhelming response from volunteers who were eager to help with various roles such as extras, make-up artists, backstage crew, set designers, and musicians. We are thrilled to have such a dedicated team working alongside our wonderful cast.
